The Evergreen High School "We the People" students hosted a "Meet the Mayoral Candidate" Q&A event last night in the school’s campus commons with close to 150 students, parents, staff and community members attending.

Mayoral candidate Tim Leavitt and Eric Withee, Field Strategist for Mayor Royce Pollard’s reelection campaign fielded questions by the student moderator and an open session for the audience.

The event was organized as a part of a civic engagement lesson.
