Community Partnerships

Evergreen Public Schools enjoys an excellent relationship with the community in which it serves.

We work with a variety of stakeholders throughout the community, including business leaders, nonprofit agencies, service organizations, school employees, students, and private citizens to coordinate partnerships that enhance the educational opportunities for the district's more than 25,000 students. Those interested in learning more about partnerships should call 604-4022.

Volunteering                                                                                                                            Ten Tips on Volunteering

You can make a difference in your local school. Please contact the school directly to find out about volunteer opportunities. Whether you help a student with reading or math, help support the school's band, choir or drama, assist on a field trip or serve as a room parent you can impact a child's life forever. There are short and long-term volunteer opportunities in all of Evergreen’s schools. To get started, complete the Volunteer Application today.

Evergreen also has volunteer opportunities with other district-wide programs. To help with developmentally challenged students, please call 604-6700. Call 604-4022 for information about the Evergreen School District Foundation's annual auction and phonathon. To learn more about teaching a Community Education class, call 604-4082.

There are also ways to volunteer in local community programs. Coach a team or help someone learn a new language... the possibilities are almost endless. Here are some other web sites designed to connect you with just the right opportunity:
