School is in a Lockdown
When your child’s school is in a lockdown:
- DO NOT call the school or district office (keep phone lines open for emergency communication)
- DO NOT go to the school (keep streets open for emergency personnel)
- The school will not allow you to enter until it is safe to do so. (DO NOT put your own safety at risk)
- DO call the EMERGENCY HOTLINE AT 604-3637
- REMEMBER your children’s school practiced lockdowns and knows how to keep your children safe
- WAIT for instruction on the release of your child and reunification with them
- Listen to the following radio and TV stations for directions:
