Summer Academy and Secondary Summer School
Grades 1-9 in Fall Coed: Evergreen Community Education is excited to announce the expansion of its popular Summer Academy Program. Study Skills, Math and English will continue to be the core of classes offered as we reach out and expand to include grades 1, 2 and 3. Summer Academy is open to students who are entering into the 1st through 9th grades. Both elementary, middle school and new 9th grade students will have a choice of taking 1-2 courses for a three-week period. These courses are designed to assist students in maintaining and/or improving skill levels in these subject areas.
This program is not designed to be an advanced study in these subject areas.
Staff-to-student ratios:
1 to 15 for 1 - 5 Grades
1 to 20 for 6 - 6 Grades
This is not a one-on-one program.
ENGLISH & ENGLISH STUDY SKILLS Academy
Instructors will use a variety of tools and
techniques to help students in reading,
writing and speaking skills. Academy Instructors
will also introduce students to proven
techniques that will help improve and/or
maintain math study and test-taking skills.

Registration will be accepted until classes fill or begin. Register early for best results! Secondary Summer School is open to any high school student.

Refund Policy: To receive a refund, notify the Evergreen Community Education office, 360-604-4082, of your intent to withdraw no later than 4:30 pm on June 30. Thereafter, no refunds will be given. Refund requests received on June 29-30 will be prorated. A 10% processing fee will be deducted from all student-requested refunds.
Attendance Policy: Students may have up to three absences. Any attendance violations beyond three days will result in dismissal from class and forfeiture of tuition and credit. Three tardies in the same class will equal one absence from class. Excessive tardiness can add up to potential attendance violations.
